The health and safety of our employees, visitors and contractors on the facilities that we work is a cross-disciplinary area concerned with protecting the safety, health and welfare of people engaged in work or employment. The goal of our occupational safety and health program is to foster a safe and healthy work environment and to protect co-workers, family members, employers, customers, suppliers, nearby communities, and other members of the public who are impacted by our work activities.
Modern occupational safety and health legislation demands that a risk assessment be carried out prior to making an intervention. Al Majdouie & De Rijke uses a specific methodology to establish a SSHEQ hazard assessment procedure. Our SSHEQ hazard assessment procedure is a standard risk assessment methodology for the organization for identifying hazards in the workplace and to determine the risks associated with such hazards. It can be used for determining safety, health, environment as well as quality associated hazards or impacts.
Since we’re working around hazards like heavy equipment, materials and some chemicals there’s always a possibility that incidents occur no matter how hard we try to keep the workplace free from this type of events. For this MDR has established an incident management system wherein we identify, analyze, and correct hazards to prevent a future reoccurrence.
